Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how BMI Pathway ("the app"), published by Rezumab LLC ("we", "us"), handles your information. By using the app you agree to this policy.

Information the app stores

You can enter your height, weight, target BMI, weigh-ins, and fasting sessions. This information is stored on your device using Apple's on-device database and, if you are signed in to iCloud, synced through your own private iCloud account (Apple's CloudKit). We do not have access to it, and it is not sent to our servers. We do not operate servers that receive your health information.

Apple Health

If you choose to connect Apple Health, the app reads your step count to display your daily steps and progress. This data is read on your device only. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party, is not used for advertising, and is not shared. You can revoke access at any time in the Health app under Sharing.

Accountability buddies

The optional buddy feature lets you pair with a friend. When you send an invite, a small summary — the display name you choose, your weight change, your fasting streak, your current BMI, and your plan name — is shared with that person through Apple's CloudKit private sharing, using your own iCloud. Your full history is never shared. We do not have access to this shared data. You can stop sharing at any time from your device and in your iCloud settings.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, they are scheduled locally on your device. We do not send push notifications and do not collect a device token.

What we do not do

• We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data.
• We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking SDKs.
• We do not require an account, email, or sign-in.

Data retention and deletion

Because your data lives on your device and in your iCloud, you are in control of it. To remove it you can delete entries within the app, delete the app, and manage or delete the app's data in your iCloud settings (Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage). Removing a buddy relationship stops the shared summary from updating and removes it from the other person's shared data.

Children

BMI Pathway is not directed to children, and fasting is not appropriate for people under 18 without medical guidance. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
